New Week.....

This week is all about the basic foods in the house...
I am also tryin out 2 new recipes this week. I just couldnt help myself! :-)

*Mon- Cheese Raviolis, bread, salad---- Very Yummy! This are always a hit in my house!

Tues- Cheesey Ranch Turkey Meatloaf, veggies, bread
Wed- Baked Chicken, veggies, pasta side
Thurs- I'm leaning towards trying a new baked Maccaroni & Cheese recipe.
Fri- Is Pizza Night! I will be trying a new oven fried eggplant recipe, too.

I maybe trying some new desserts this weekend! So, watch for that!

Friday Nights Dinner: 1/15/11

Tonight is Pizza night! I have a frozen pizza I am going to bake up for dinner. I love having pizza night!Pizza is my favorite food! It had bread, cheese, and tomato sauce. And you can all anything you want on top and it always tastes good!
I do have to say that I will be also making chicken nuggets and fries to accomapny the pizza..haha. Due to the fact that my middle child, Anthony, does not like pizza.. Weird, I know! But, he honestly doesnt like it. He has tried and tried it but, just never comes to like it.
I'm totally ok with making him chicken nuggets. :-)

I also think we will be going out for dessert tonight, too! My oldest child, Hunter, has been VERY good in school and we like to reward him. So, he opted for ice cream at Friendlys resturaunt, his fav!

I love having a relaxed Family night!

Review for The Omlette

It was pretty good. But, I think I realized I am not a big fan of eggs. I really prefer them fried up on some toast! Yummy!
My kids however, didn't like it at all really but, my husband thought it was good.
Not sure I would make again...

Friday's Dinner... 1/15/11

Baked Gruyere and Sausage Omelet (Altered)

I am altering this a bit... I am using Provolone cheese instead of the gruyere because I couldn't find the gruyere . We are also using regular pork italian sausage instead of the turkey because we couldn't find the italian turkey sausage... I guess I need a new store! haha! I do plan on trying this the original way, too. I am just praying the kids like it!

My Start...

I am starting this blog because I need a hobby.
I am a stay at home to 3 great kids. 1 is in school, and the other 2 stay home with me.
I LOVE to bake and cook. So, I figured I would try blogging about all the new recipes I try. I have also gave myself a goal to try at least 1 new recipe every week. I am also hoping it will help me to get myself, my husband and my kids eating better.
I also plan on taking some cooking & baking class at the local Community College to try and help me with my basics.
